Born in Metz, France, in 1993, Louise Hallou lives and works in Paris. Since graduating from École Nationale Supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in 2018, she has developed an experimental artistic practice that attunes poetry, performance and installations and video. A nocturnal universe, satellite images, precarious materials and micro-events interact in her work to form untamed poetic ensembles open to wildness and collective daydreams. She most recently exhibited at CAC Brétigny (2023), Galerie Treize, Paris (2022), Folie Béton and 6B in Saint-Denis (2021), and the Mulhouse contemporary art biennial (2019). She has worked with numerous artists, such as musician Talita Otović, the Événement 0 collective, and Alice Brygo on the art direction and costume creation for her short film "Soum".
