Immersive scenography that plunges the visitor into the ritual of heading out to the disco.

Following on from the Ultimo Impero project, a collaboration with Aurélie Faure, Tony Regazzoni scoured northern Italy for the remains of the immense discotheques built on the outskirts of cities in the 1970-1990s. For Le Nouveau Printemps, he occupies the regional art center with an immersive scenography, pulsating with sound, stories and pictures that set the stage for a night at the disco, while those moments spring back into our memories.
From rural discos to queer clubbing in Paris, Tony Regazzoni explores party environments in every shape and form, nightlife venues conducive to transgression and the reinvention of who you are.
