Deep Weather attacks the question of the cause and effect of human-made climate change: while the energy-intensive and growth-based economic system of countries in the "North" exploits natural resources, its negative repercussions, such as rising sea levels and subsequent flooding, impact the "South" essentially. Biemann's video work reminds us that the Earth is a closed and reactive system. Everything in "System Earth" is interconnected.
