Le Nouveau Printemps has an established long-term teaching project with public middle schools and high schools. Over several months, arts teachers in around fifteen of them have been asking their students to explore fields of study suggested by Alain Guiraudie and his guest artists. Those themes include systems of narrative, archives, forms of resistance and promises of tomorrow. It is an opportunity for students to appropriate these issues while bringing a totally free approach to an artistic practice. The works created as part of the project become elements in a group show on display during the Festival in the courtyard entrance of Cour Baragnon. A publication available at the Festival Welcome Center features all the students' creations.
